Simple Syrup:

1/2 C water
1/2 C Sugar

Bring to boil and stir until sugar dissolves. Cool and store in jar.

Clove Syrup:

3/4 C cloves, grind course in coffee grinder
1/2 C water
1/2 C sugar

Put cloves in teabag. Bring water and cloves to boil and then let seep for 20 minutes. Pour into jar. Remove cloves, add sugar and shake until sugar dissolves.


Basil Syrup:

Lime cut in half
1 C water
1 C sugar
1 C fresh basil

Boil all and then simmer for one minute. Remove from heat and steep for 30 minutes. Remove lime and basil. Store in jar.

Mint Syrup

1 C sugar
1 C water
1 C loosely packed mint leaves

Boil all until sugar dissolves. Simmer one minute. Remove from heat and let steep for 30 minutes. Strain out mint leaves. Sotre in jar in fridge.

Vanilla Simple Syrup

1 C sugar
1 C water
2 t vanilla extract

Add water and sugar in sauce pan and heat until sugar is dissolved. Let cool and then stir in vanilla. Store in jar.

Raspberry Simple Syrup

1 C sugar
1 C water
16 oz. frozen raspberries
1 t lemon juice, fresh squeezed

Place all ingredients into saucepan. Bring to a simmer and stir until sugar is dissolved. Simmer 8-10 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool for 15 minutes. Pour mix through a mesh sieve. Store in jar.
