1 c butter flavored Crisco
2 c sugar, divided
2 eggs
2 T milk
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/4 c flour
2 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp salt
2 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º.

Combine Crisco, 1 1/2 c sugar, eggs, milk, and vanilla in a large bowl. Beat at medium speed until well blended.

Combine flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt; blend together. add to creamed mixture; mix well.

Shape dough by the spoonfuls in to round 1 inch balls.

Combine the remaining 1/2 cup of sugar and cinnamon in a shallow dish. roll the dough balls in the sugar mixture. Place 2 inches apart on the ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake for 7-8 minutes. Remove to cooling rack.
