1-1 lb. hamburger
1 can (15.5 oz.) hominy, ground
1 onion, chopped
2 cans (8 oz.) tomato sauce
1 can (2.25 oz.) sliced olives
1 tsp. chili powder
Jack or cheddar cheese, either slices or shredded

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350

Brown the hamburger and onions; drain the fat. Combine the meat mixture with the tomato sauce, olives and chili powder. Simmer for 5-10 minutes.

Grind the hominy in a food processor or meat grinder.

Pour the hamburger mixture into a 3 quart casserole dish and alternate layers with hominy and cheese until full. The last layer should end with cheese.

Bake for 30 minutes.
