28oz can whole plum tomatoes
1 small onion
1-2 jalapeņos (we usually do 1 whole and 1 without the seeds to get medium heat)
1 red bell pepper
1.5 tsp cumin
1.5 tsp salt
1/4-1 tsp sugar
1-2 handfuls cilantro leaves
3 Tbsp lime juice

Cut veggies into large chunks, place all ingredients in a blender or food processor, and blend to desired consistency. Best served cooled and we feel like flavor is better after it has sat for 24hrs.
