2 large onions, chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
3 T olive oil
2 T lemon juice
1 tsp cracked pepper
1 T sugar
2 T dried oregano leaves
1 T dried basil leaves
1 tsp rosemary, crushed
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp celery salt
1/2 tsp dried summer savory
4 tsp Italian seasoning
12-18 oz tomato paste

Directions:
Directions:
In a large Dutch oven; mix together all ingredients; blend well. Bring mixture to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 5-15 minutes. Stir frequently.

Sterilize, 6-8 oz jelly jars, place in hot water with lids. Pour Sauce into jars leaving a 1/2 inch headspace; lid and band jars.

Place jars in a hot water bath canner; cover with water to at least 1 inch over the tops of the jars. Bring to a rolling, constant boil; process for 25 minutes.

Note: You can add 1/2 - 1 teaspoon of fennel seeds. You can start tomatoes from scratch and cook sauce down to desired thickness too.
