5 - bacon slices
1 small - Bermuda onion, chopped
2 T. - flour
2/3 c. - white vinegar
1 & 1/3 c. - water
¼ c. - sugar
1 tsp. - salt
2 - chicken bouillon cubes
dash - pepper
6 c. - potatoes, sliced & cooked

Directions:
Directions:
Fry bacon until crisp. Drain on paper towel. Reserve 2 to 3 tablespoons of drippings. Crumble bacon. Sauté onion in bacon drippings until tender. Blend in flour slowly. Stir in vinegar and water; add bouillon cubes. Cook until mixture boils and thickens slightly. Add sugar, salt and pepper. Simmer 10 minutes. Pour over cooked potatoes; add crumbled bacon and mix well.
