8 ounces of mushrooms
1 tablespoon of butter
1 tablespoon of olive oil
½ cup of dry red wine or marsala
¾ cup of beef broth
2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons of water
1 teaspoon of honey
1 teaspoon of dried parsley flakes
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
In a small bowl, combine flour, water, and honey. whisk until smooth.

In a medium skillet, add butter and oil, and sauté mushrooms, stirring occasionally. Add red wine or marsala, simmer for 2 to 3 minutes. Add beef broth, and simmer for 5 minutes. Add flour mixture and stir in until well blended. Allow to thicken for a few minutes. Add parsley, and serve over favorite steak, or beef recipe.
