½ c. Water
2 c. Sugar
1 c. Corn Syrup
2 c. Raw Peanuts
2 tbsp. Butter (1 tbsp. Pat Hubbard)
2 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Butter 2 cookie sheets well. Have candy thermometer ready.
Boil water then add sugar and corn syrup. Stir until it reaches 248ºF. Add peanuts. Cook slow stirring constantly until golden brown around 310ºF. Remove from heat and add baking soda, butter and vanilla. Stir quickly. Pour onto prepared cookie sheets.
