6 cups flour
3/4 cups shortening
2 yeast cake
1 cup raisins
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
4 teaspoon baking powder
3 cups milk (scalded)
1 teaspoon salt

Directions:
Directions:
1. Make a sponge with 3 cups with 3 cups flour and 2 yeast cakes.
2. Let stand one hour.
3. Mix together 1 cup raisins, shortening, sugar, eggs, salt, and baking powder.
4. Stir well and let mixture stand one hour.
5. Use 1/3 of the dough at a time and roll square 1/8 inch thick.
6. Spread butter on dough and sprinkle with 1 teaspoon cinnamon and 5 tablespoon sugar (use this amount of cinnamon and sugar on each 1/3 of the dough.)
7. Roll like cinnamon rolls, put into pans so they are quite close together and let stand 10 minutes before baking.
8. Frost while still warm with 3/4 package powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1 teaspoon lemon extract and enough water to make a thin glaze (or use orange juice in the powdered sugar instead of extract and water).
9. Each 1/3 of the dough will make 8 to 10 rolls.
