3 sticks butter (can substitute margarine)
2 cups sugar
½ cup molasses
2 eggs
4 cups flour
4 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cloves

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.
Beat eggs until fluffy. Mix in butter, sugar, molasses. Add in flour, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger and cloves. Mix well. Chill for several hours.
Roll into small balls. Roll in sugar. Place on cookie sheet. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.

Best eaten while still warm.
