1 (53 oz.) can pork & beans
1 med. bell pepper, chopped
1 med. onion, chopped
3 T. mustard
1/4 c. brown sugar
8 strips bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces
Add jalapeños for “hotness”, if desired

Directions:
Directions:
Put bacon, bell pepper and onions into a large skillet and sauté. Pour in pork & beans, mustard and brown sugar. Cook on low heat for 10 minutes, then pour into baking dish. Cook in oven at 350ºF for 20 minutes.
