3 lbs unseasoned bulk pork sausage or ground pork
2 medium onions, chopped fine, cooked soft
3 lbs pork
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1/8 tsp allspice
1 tsp summer savory
3 tsp sage, optional
18 oz old-fashioned oat, not quick cook

Directions:
Directions:
In a large dutch oven; cook oatmeal until soft, drain. Add bulk meat and spices; mix well.

To cook raw; place in a loaf pan and bake at 325º for 4 hours. You can stuff into casings or make patties and freeze.

Fry in a skillet with butter or oil until golden brown and crispy.
