Grandma Hess


3 sticks margarine/butter (set one stick aside for icing)
8 tbsp cocoa (divided in half)
C water
2 C flour
2 eggs
2 C sugar
tsp. salt
C sour cream
1 tsp baking soda
1 C chopped nuts
6 tbsp milk
1 lb. powdered sugar (1 box)
1 tsp vanilla

Bring 2 sticks butter, cocoa, and water to a boil. Add this to the mixture: flour, eggs, sugar, salt, sour cream, soda and nuts. Bake at 325 for 20 or 25 minutes in a large sheet pan. ICING: Boil the remaining cocoa, milk, butter, then add the powdered sugar and vanilla and spread over sheet cake.
