You will need 8 clean (1 pint) canning jars.
Fresh okra, approximately 1 gal.
1/2 c. canning salt
1 qt. water
1 qt. white vinegar, 5% acidity

For each pint jar:
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. dill seed
1 clove garlic
1 hot pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Pack jars with okra, dill seed, celery seed, garlic, and hot pepper. Mix vinegar, water, and salt together, bring to a boil and boil for 5 minutes. Pour over packed okra, seal at once. Put jars in boiling water and let boil for 7 minutes.
