1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. mashed bananas
1/2 c. uncooked oats
1/2 c. pecans
1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 t. salt
1 t. baking soda
1 c. fresh blueberries

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening. Add sugar gradually, beating until
light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well
after each addition. Mix in mashed bananas.

In another bowl, combine remaining ingredients, stirring
gently. Add the two mixtures together, stirring until
moist. Spoon batter in a well-greased and sugared loaf
pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 50-55 minutes or until wooden
toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool in pan for
about 10 minutes; remove from pan and cool completely
on wire rack.
