Ingredients:  
1/2 c maply syrup
3 T butter or margarine
1/2 tsp salt
2 T lighht cream
1 c pecans
1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine maple syrup, butter or margarine salt and light cream in saucepan. Boil slowly 10 minutes.

Stir in pecans and vanilla.

Pour over cooled cake in 9 inch square pan. Bake 10 minutes in hot oven 400º.

Serve warm.
