3/4 c Crisco
3/4 c butter
2 c sugar
1 tsp vanilla
4 eggs
5 c flour
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl; cream together Crisco, butter and sugar, until smooth. Add vanilla and eggs one at a time until well mixed. Cream all ingredients until light and fluffy.

In another large bowl; mix together; flour, baking power and baking soda. Gradually add to creamed mixture; mix throughly. Refrigerate dough at least 6 hours or overnight, covered; overnight is best.

Divide dough into quarters. On a floured surface roll out dough to 1/4 inch thick, cut with cookie cutters and place on an un-greased cookie sheet.

Bake at 350º for 6-8 minutes until lightly browned at the edges, cool on sheet 1-2 minutes and transfer to wire rack to cool completely.
