1 c butter
1 c brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 c flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
3 c old fashioned oatmeal, uncooked
1 c raisins, soak in hot water and drained

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350º.

In a large bowl; cream together, butter, brown sugar, and eggs until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla; beat until smooth.

In another bowl; combine; flour, oats, baking soda, salt, cinnamon; blend together. Add gradually to the creamed mixture and mix until well blended. Stir in drained raisins.

Drop by the spoonfuls on un-greased cookie sheets. Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool on pan 2 minutes, then remove to wire racks to cool. Store in an airtight container.
