3 c flour
2 1/4 c sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 c milk
1 1/4 c oil
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
3 T poppy seeds
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 tsp almond extract
Glaze:
1/4 c orange juice
3/4 c sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp almond extract

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Grease two loaf pans and set aside.

In a mixing bowl; mix together; sugar, eggs, milk, oil, vanilla, and almond extract.

Sift together: flour, salt and baking soda; add to wet mixture and blend well.

Divide the batter between the two prepared pans. Bake for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 10minutes in pan then remove to wire rack and cool for 15 minutes.

Glaze:
In a small saucepan combine all ingredients and stirring constantly until sugar is melted, remove from heat. Pour glaze over loaves and cool completely .
