1 stick butter
½ c. Crisco
¾ c. brown sugar
¾ c. white sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 ½ c. flour
1 bag chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Cream butter, Crisco, brown sugar and white sugar. Add vanilla and eggs. Mix well. Add salt and baking soda, mix. Add flour, a little at a time and chocolate chips. (I use milk chocolate or semi-sweet). Form dough into ping pong sized balls and place on a cookie sheet. Bake for 10 - 12 minutes.

I mix this recipe by hand, but you could use a stand mixer if you want.
