Wash, string, trim and cut or break beans in to 1 1/2 to 2 inch pieces.
Raw pack: Pack into jars to within 1/2 inch of top of jar. Add 1/2 tsp of canning salt to each pint. Fill to within 1/2 inch of top of jar with boiling water. Put on cap, screw band firmly tight.
Hot pack: Boil 3 minutes. Pack into jars to within 1/2 inch of top. Add 1/2 tsp canning salt to each pint. Fill jar within 1/2 inch of top with precooking liquid or boiling water. Put on cap, screw band firmly tight

Process: Pints 20 minutes
Quarts 25 minutes
10 pounds pressure
