1/2 Cup Sugar
1/2 stick butter

Melt butter and add flour cook over low heat or in a double boiler
when all is combined add and milk and sugar let cook slowly until it begins to
thicken. When it cools down celery seeds and salt and pepper

This comes from the Dutch country, we lived within 10 miles of the Dutch country and most of my family was Mennonites, and the recipe from both my parents
My grandmother Stone had many receipts you will see in this book as did my aunts and parents
