1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
1 lb. sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
2 c. unsifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. red pepper (cayenne)

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter, pour over shredded cheese. Work in flour, salt, and cayenne pepper. On lightly floured board, roll thin, about 1/8 inch thick. Cut into strips, about 1-inch wide by 2-inches long. Place strips on baking sheet, bake at 450 for about 5 minutes. Watch closely to avoid burning.
