1 (8 oz) pkg. sharp Cheddar cheese, finely shredded (2 cups)
1 small onion, peeled and cut in half and finely shredded OR (1 tbs. minced onion)
1 cup pecans, finely chopped
⅔ c. mayonnaise
¼ tsp. garlic salt (optional)
¼ tsp. pepper
Dash of red pepper
Strawberry preserves
Directions:
Directions:
• Mix all ingredients together.
• Shape mixture into a ring on a serving platter.
• Chill several hours.
• Fill center ring with strawberry preserves.
• Serve with crackers.
