4 1/3 cups flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cream of tarter
1 teaspoon salt
4 Tablespoons sugar
1 cup cold butter
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 cup buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients until butter. Cut in butter then add eggs and buttermilk. Knead gently until smooth. Roll out thick on well-floured surface. Place on lightly greased pan and bake at 425ºF for 12-15 minutes.
*You can use regular milk, omit the soda and use 4 tsp baking powder instead... they are just less moist.
