3 c. - sugar
4 - eggs
1 c. - oil
2 c. - pumpkin (16 oz. can)
2/3 c. - water
3½ c. - all-purpose flour
1½ tsp. - baking powder
2 tsp. - baking soda
½ tsp. - salt
1 tsp. - nutmeg
1 tsp. - cloves (measure scant)
1 tsp. - cinnamon
1 c. - raisins
1 c. - nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Combine the first 5 ingredients. Beat until well mixed. Set aside. Create second mixture by sifting together remaining ingredients--except for the raisins & nuts. Combine both mixtures and beat well. Mix in raisins and nuts. Grease & flour two 8 x 3¾ x 2½ loaf pans. Fill half full and bake at 350º for about 1 hour or until bread starts to leave sides of can.
