9 medium potatoes, grated
1/4 cup butter
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 pint sour cream
salt & pepper to taste
1/4 cup chopped green onion (optional)
1 1/2 cups grated cheddar cheese
1 3/4 cups crushed corn flakes - coated with 2 tablespoons butter

Directions:
Directions:
Fry potatoes. In separate pan mix butter, cream of chicken, sour cream, salt, pepper, and half of grated cheese. Add potatoes. Pour in to buttered 9x13 inch pan. Sprinkle rest of cheese on top. Sprinkle corn flakes on top of cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
