4 cups strawberries
4 cups sugar
Sure-Jell fruit pectin
¾ water

Directions:
Directions:
Mash strawberries in a large bowl and add sugar. Set aside for 10 minutes.

Mix Sure-Jell and water in saucepan and bring to a boil. Boil over high heat for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.

Add mixture to strawberries. Stir for 3 minutes (or until sugar is completely dissolved and no longer grainy).

Fill jars immediately, leaving ½ inch space at top for expansion during freezing. Cover with lids. Let stand at room temperature 24 hours or until set. Refrigerate up to 3 weeks or freeze up to one year. If frozen, thaw in refrigerator before using.
