2 cups sugar
Dash of salt
1 can evaporated milk (pet milk)
1 ½ cup whole milk
¾ cup all-purpose flour
4 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
2 pie shells

4 TBSP. cocoa or
½ bag coconut or
½ cup peanut butter

MERINGUE
4 egg whites
¾ cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Sift all dry ingredients together and mix. Add milk, vanilla, and egg yokes to dry ingredients and mix with mixer. Cook in saucepan over medium heat on stovetop until it gets thick (or you can cook in microwave for 15 minutes, stirring halfway through).

Remove from stove (or microwave) and add 1 stick of butter, stirring until smooth. Pour into cooked pie shells and let cool.

For the meringue, mix egg whites, sugar, and vanilla. Beat with mixer until it gets stiff. Pour onto pies and bake at 350º until it is golden brown.
