3-4 lbs chicken thighs and/or legs or a whole cut up chicken
chicken broth or stock, enough to cover chicken
OR
water with 1 chicken boullion cube or tsp of chicken base per cup of water
1/2 cup chopped fresh onion
1 cup chopped fresh carrots
noodles
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Cook chicken for 1-2 hours until it falls off the bones. Remove chicken from skin and bones, cut into bite size pieces and refrigerate. Strain broth and refrigerate (preferably overnight) until the fat rises to the top and can be easily removed. Cook onions and carrots in broth until tender, about 20 minutes. Add chicken pieces and noodles and cook until noodles are done.
