1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup shortening
2 tsp salt
2 eggs
1 cup milk
2 tsp vanilla
3 cups flour
2 tbsp baking powder
1-2 cups blueberries

Filling
3 tbsp butter, melted
1 cup brown sugar
3 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cups chopped nuts (optional)
Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar, shortening and salt. Add eggs and mix well. Alternately add milk and vanilla with flour and baking powder. Stir in blueberries. In a separate bowl mix melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon and nuts (if desired). Spread half the batter in a greased 9" x 13" baking pan. Sprinkle with half the filling. Repeat with remaining batter and filling. Bake at 375º for 25-30 minutes. Don't underbake.
