2 C sugar
3 eggs
1 C soft butter
1 1/2 tbsp poppy seed
2 tsp Almond extract
1 tsp vanilla
3 C flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 C milk

1/2 C powder sugar
2tbsp orange juice
1/2 tsp Almond extract
1/2 tsp butter
1/2tsp vanilla

Cream sugar, eggs, butter until light and fluffy beat in poppy seed, 1 1/2 tsp almond extract, vanilla. Combine dry ingredients add alternating with milk and flour only until thoroughly combined. Pour into greased pan bake 350 40-45 minutes or when toothpick comes clean.

Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan and heat about 30 seconds brush warm topping on warm loafs.
