3 1/2 Cups Water
2/3 cups dried elderberries
2T ginger-- Grated
1t cinnamon
1/2 ground cloves
1 Cup raw honey

Directions:
Directions:
Pour the water into a medium saucepan and add the elderberries, ginger, cinnamon, and cloves. Bring to a boil and then cover and reduce to a simmer for about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Until liquid has been reduced by half. Remove from heat and let cool until t is cool enouh to be handled. Mash elderberries withspoon or other flat utensil. Pour through a strainer into a glass jor or bowl. Discard the elderberries and let the liquid cool to lukewarm. When it is lukewarm, add honey ad stir well. When the honey is mixed into the elderberry mixture pour the syrup into a mason jare or `6 oz. bottle. Ta Da you just made elderberry syrup.

Standard dose is 1/2 - 1 teaspoon.
