Ingredients: For the cookie: 1 cup flour 3:4 cup sugar 1.tsp vanilla 3 eggs
Cookie Filling: 5 Tbsp. flour 1 cup milk 1/4 cup butter 3/4 cup crisco 1cup sugar 1 tsp vanilla
Maraschino cherries (for decorating) cut into slivers Powdered sugar

Directions:For the cookie: Mix to form batter I beat the eggs sugar and vanilla and then added the flour.
Drop by teaspoonful onto greased and floured cookie sheet try to form a small circle.
Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes. As soon as you remove from the pan press the end of cookie at one end of circle to form Calia Lily. These set up fast so only make a cookie sheet with 10-12 at a time.
For the Filling: Mix in a small pot the 5 tbsp flour with the 1 cup milk Cook until thick / set aside to cool.
Beat until sugar until it is blended and not gritty Add flour mixture and beat until smooth. Using a cake decorating tip and bag fill the cookies. Place a sliver of candied cherry ( I used maraschino cherries) to form pistil of the flower
Dust with powdered sugar after filled. |

Notes: To prevent the cookies from sticking, I spray Pam on Reynold Non-Stick foil. If you use parchment paper, they will stick.
