3 cups all-purpose flour
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
2 ¾ cup extra fine granulated sugar
4 large eggs
2 tbs dark rum, optional
1 tbs vanilla extract
½ tsp butter extract, optional
¾ cup whole milk
½ cup cream soda
butterscotch sauce, optional for topping

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325°F.

1) Grease a 10-inch bundt pan with butter and flour it.

2) In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.

3) In large bowl of stand mixer, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in rum, vanilla, and butter extract until well combined.3

4) Beat in flour mixture alternating with milk and cream soda, until smooth

5) Pour batter into prepared bundt pan. Bake for 55 to 65 minutes, until center is set and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

6) Allow cake to cool completely (in bundt pan) before inverting onto cake plate. Serve warm with butterscotch sauce.
