4 cups elderberries
1½ cups of sugar
¼ cup water
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 Tbsp. lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.
Mix the elderberries and sugar. Mix the water and cornstarch. Combine the two in a saucepan and stir for a few minutes over a low heat to thicken the pie filling. Add the lemon juice. Pour into your favourite pie crust (lattice looks pretty) and bake for about 45 minutes.
