1 11oz. can of mandarin oranges
1 flat can of crushed pineapple
1 6 oz. orange Jello
⅓ c. sugar
1 pint orange sherbet
pinch of salt
sour cream (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Drain fruit reserving juice; add enough water to make 2 cups. Put juice, sugar and salt in saucepan. Bring to boil, stirring to mix. Remove from heat. Add Jello, stir to dissolve. Allow to cool slightly, but while still warm blend in sherbet. Cool until it begins to thicken then fold in pineapple and oranges. Pour in oiled mold (I used a crystal bowl) and let stand several hours or overnight.

I served this in 2000 when Robin and the Armbrecht family came to visit us at our home in Lakeville, MN. Grandma and Aunt Bev have both given me this recipe.
