1 c butter, softened
3/4 c brown sugar, packed
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla
3 c quick-cook oats
1 1/2 c all-purpose flour
1 pkg (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 c semisweet chocolate chips
1 c nuts, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars together until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine the oats, flour, dry pudding mix, baking soda, and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in chips and nuts.

Drop by level tablespoonfuls, 2 inches apart onto a greased cookie sheet.

Bake at 375º for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove to cool on wire racks.
