5 tablespoons flour, divided
1/4 cup corn meal
Salt and pepper to taste
4 beef cube steaks
1 egg white
1 teaspoon water
2 tablespoons cooking oil, divided

Gravy:
1 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoons flour
1˝ cups milk
1 teaspoon beef bouillon
1/2 teaspoon marjoram
1/4 teaspoon thyme
1/8 teaspoon pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Combine 3 tablespoons flour, cornmeal, salt and pepper. Coat steaks with remaining flour. Beat egg white with water and dip steaks then dredge in cornmeal mixture. In a large skillet on heat 1 tablespoon oil and cook 2 steaks 5 to 7 minutes on each side. Remove steaks and keep warm. Repeat with the remaining 2 steaks.

To make the gravy, melt butter in a saucepan. Stir in flour until we’ll blended. Gradually add milk and bring to a boil over medium heat. Boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to medium low and add spices. Simmer uncovered for 4 to 5 minutes. Serve over steaks. Enjoy!
