Ingredients:
Ingredients:
8 oz cream cheese
1 cup shredded cheese
4 Tbsp jalapeņo or pepper jelly
1 can Rotel or tomatoes with green chilis
1/2 cup salsa or picante sauce
1 small can chopped green chilis - optional
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper or hot sauce - optional
1 cup minced cooked chicken - optional

Directions:
Directions:
In microwave safe dish, melt cream cheese and pepper jelly gently, stirring frequently. This will depend on your microwave. I usually start with 1 minute, and add 30 seconds at a time. Once they are melted and mixed together add cheese and continue 30 seconds of melting in microwave and mixing until cheese is blended. Do not overcook as cheese will break and get gloopy.

Add rest of ingredients and stir a lot, until blended with cheese mixture. It will seem like it won't mix together, but just keep stirring. Taste and add optional cayenne or hot sauce if you want more heat. Stir in optional chicken for a heavier appetizer.

Serve warm with tortilla chips. Also good as a nacho sauce for tacos.

Personal Notes:
You can substitute peach or apricot jelly and increase the heat with spices.

This is the current evolution of my own tinkering to find a sweet hot cheese dip.
