½ c. molasses
2 c. sugar
1½ c .butter (soft)
2 eggs
4 tsp baking soda
4 c. flour
1 tsp cloves
1½ tsp ginger
1½ tsp cinnamon
1 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix ingredients together and roll into balls, then in sugar. Bake at 375º until well done. Cool on cooling rack.

This recipe is one of my favorites from the APT cookbook. I first made these in 1996 and have made them many, many times since. At the holidays I like to dip half of them in melted white chocolate and then add green and red sugars to doll them up for the holidays!
