1 1/4 c flour
1/2 c butter
3 T water

Mix like pie crust. Put on a large cookie sheet in two long strips about three inches wide.

1 c water
3 eggs
1/2 c butter
1 c flour
1/2 tsp almond extract

Put the water in a pan with butter, heat to boiling, add the flour, beat until smooth, add eggs one at a time, and beat well after each addition. Add the almond extract, spread on the first mixture, bake 60 minutes at 350º.

When cool frost with:

2 c powdered sugar
2 tsp butter
1/2 tsp almond extract

Add enough milk to spread.
