1 can of peas
Cheese-cheddar, American, Velveeta
Onions
Bacon or Ham optional
Salt
Pepper
Miracle Whip

Directions:
Directions:
Drain peas. Cut up cheese into small pieces add to peas. Don't stir yet. Dice up onion to desired size and add to peas. Do not stir yet. Salt and pepper to taste. Add diced meat if desired.

Now stir all ingredients.

Chill and serve.

Does not keep well. Make same day as used.

This recipe came from Grandma Edna's friend out in Oregon. I cannot remember her name. They were not very well to do. They lived in the white house on the T of the main road.
