4 slices diced Bacon 1 diced onion 3 celery stalks diced 1/4 lb diced potatoes blanched 4 cups heavy cream 1 1/2 cups fresh chopped clams 1/3 cup chowder 1/2 cup half and half 4 oz. butter 2 oz clam base or concentrate 1/1/4 cup clam nectar or water salt/pepper/cayenne pepper to taste 1 tsp marjoram 2 tsp chopped basil 1 tsp italian seasoning 1/4 tsp dill 2 bay leaves Chopped parsley

cook bacon set aside . add butter all seasons except dill and parsley .Cook until tender add flour cook on low 3-4 minutes Add all dairy and clam juice/nectar heat to a boil reduce to simmer . Add chopped bacon steamed potatoes and chopped clams Bring back to a boil 3-4 minutes. Add dill and parsley.
