2 eggs
1½ C milk
2 T sugar
2 C sifted flour
¼ tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder


Will need enough cooking oil for batter to float (depend on depth of pan) and a Funnel

Toppings ( powdered sugar, cinnamon sugar, favorite cooked or canned
fruit pie filling, Ice Cream)

Place oil in pan or deep fryer and begin heating process to 375Degree º F

Beat the eggs, add milk and sugar
Sift the flour, salt and baking powder together
Add dry ingredients to wet mixture and beat until smooth and thin enough to run thru a funnel.

Cover bottom of funnel with finger and fill to amount desired (more for large funnel cakes/less for smaller funnel cakes)

Using your finger over the funnel bottom to control the flow drop the batter in a circular movement over the pan.

Fry until golden brown the flip and brown other side.
