4 T butter or margarine
3 T cornstarch
1/4 tsp salt

Combine ingredients. Bring to a boil over low heat stirring constantly, then cook slowly 10 minutes. serve warm over vanilla or coffee ice cream and sprinkle with walnut or toasted almond chips
