1 T butter
1/2 c sugar
1 egg separated
3/4 c boiling water
Sherry or brandy

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and butter. Beat egg yolk in water. Cook in double boiler for about 15 minutes. Just before serving add stiffly beaten white of an egg. Add sherry for brandy.
