1/2 Head of cabbage

3/4c Mayo, not Miracle Whip..

1T White Vinegar

1 1/2T Lemon Juice

1/2T Salt

2T White Sugar

Some pepper

Shred the cabbage into very thin strips then mix everything together.

I've rested the cabbage in a couple dashes of Kosher Salt for an hour with good results.

Mix the salt into the shredded cabbage vigorously. Cover with a thin cloth and set aside in a cool dark area with minimal noises. Feel free to light some incense as long as the smoke doesn't touch the container. Talk to the resting cabbage with an encouraging tone. Squeeze out the moisture that the salt draws out and incorporate the normal ingredients without the salt.
