Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 pounds button mushrooms or regular size mushrooms, lightly washed, thinly sliced or cut in quarters
3–15-ounce bottles Wish-Bone® Zesty Italian Dressing

Directions:
Directions:
The marinated mushrooms can be prepared in a couple of different ways. The mushrooms can be thinly sliced which is the way mom did it. If the mushrooms are small enough to be left whole, then only the bottom of the stems need to be trimmed off. If they are regular size mushrooms and you choose not to slice them, then they can be quartered.

Whichever way you care to treat the mushrooms, after preparation, place in a container that can accommodate all the mushrooms. Keep in mind that the mushrooms will shrink in the marinade. Add the whole bottles of Italian dressing to cover the mushrooms. Stir to immerse and combine the mushrooms into the dressing and secure the container with a lid or cover with plastic wrap and store in the refrigerator for at least three hours before serving.

Serve in a nice serving bowl with a slotted serving spoon.

Store leftovers in an airtight container up to four days in refrigerator.

Personal Notes:
Mom would make these for small dinner parties or small gatherings. David Castleman, son of Rosemary Hackwith, raved about them and couldn't believe how simple they were to make. Rosemary was a neighbor and dear friend of the family who lived across the street on Bishop Avenue that would babysit Darrin when he was a toddler.
