3 cups chicken broth
1 cup orzo pasta
4 slices bacon
1/2 onion, diced fine
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 cup grated carrots
2 tbl bell peppers, diced fine

Directions:
Directions:
Bring chicken broth to boil, add orzo, boil 10 minutes, drain, set aside. Thinly slice bacon cook in fry pan until done. Set aside. Reserve 3 tbl of drippings; wipe out the rest of grease and debris from the pan. Cook garlic and onion in drippings. Add pasta, carrots, peppers and bacon to pan. Heat thoroughly about 5 minutes. This is a nice variety to rice.
